Natashia has spent 20 years in progressive leadership roles in transformation and Continuous Improvement in both Retail and in the Canadian Fintech sector. 

As a thoughtful, patient, analytical collaborative leaders underpinned by her Honours BA from York University in Business Administration and Psychology.   

Currently Natashia is the National Director of Real Estate for Empire Inc., a Canadian grocery retailer. Responsibilities focus on oversight of all real estate systems, process architecture value chain coupled with strategic and operational accountability of workplace (1million sq ft in 7 provinces) with a key focus on Hybrid Strategy.  Prior to this role, Natashia was the National Director of Shared Services for Empire, this role focused on the development of a Continuous Improvement mindset and to reduce complexities & embed optimization. Both roles at Empire are key to unlocking new ways of working delivering on strategic targets.  

While at Maple Leaf Foods, Natashia lead delivery of Corporate Marketing Strategy, Food Safety transformation, Finance SAP optimization initiatives, and the creation of a Process Management Framework. Natashia then moved to Sears Canada co-leading teams through E-commerce apparel online efficiencies and National Supply Chain optimization to drive massive acceleration in efficiencies across all platforms. 

Having cut her teeth in large cap companies, Natashia transferred her skillset to the emerging Canadian Fintech sector, as Vice President of Technology, Projects, and Compliance for one of the fastest growing lending platforms in the space. Natashia led the development and implementation of multiple governance initiatives that allowed the company to acquire several companies over two years ensuring each respective target return was achieved across complex platforms.  Natashia worked closely with the Board of Directors and CEO to create transformative execution strategies that would then be the basis for concluding and executing acquisitions. 

Throughout all Natashia’s experiences are key pillars of structure, managing change and establishing cultures of change to generate momentum and multi-level sponsorship and support and measurement of changes toward achievement of corporate objectives. 

Away from work Natashia is passionate about fitness, tennis, travelling, interior decor and often hosts friends and family as a food and wine enthusiast.
